JNFL announced that one of the transport casks used in the transport of Phase III returned vitrified waste will be removed from the Vitrified Waste Storage Centre, to be returned to COGEMA in France on May 15. The cask will be removed from the centre on the morning of May 15, and loaded onto a ship at approximately 13:00 the same day. The transport ship will leave the port at approximately 16:30. The transport ship will be open to members of the Energy WritersÕ Club on the afternoon of May 15. If interested, please apply to the Public Relations Division of JNFL. Please note that boarding of the transport ship on the appointed day may be canceled due to weather conditions. |
