Press Release Concerning Receipt of Approval for Reprocessing Facility Design and Construction Modifications.


Japan Nuclear Fuel Limited


JNFL received approval from the Director General of the Science and Technology Agency today, regarding an application to modify the design and construction of its reprocessing facility filed on August 8 1997.

The modifications are designed to improve maintenance procedures at structures and facilities at already approved reprocessing plants.
