Press Release concerning the first shipment of Enriched Uranium 1997

We would like to annouce that the shipment of Enriched Uranium from the Uranium Enrichment Plant in Rokkasho-mura was concluded.

The approximate amount of the shipment was 64 tons of UF6 (32 cylinders of 30B type), which was delivered to Tohoku Electric Power Company, Tokyo Electric Power company, Chubu Electric Power company, Kansai Electric Power company and Chugoku Electric Power company. The shipment was completed around 23:20 Pm April 2 1997.
