Notification of Changes in Work Plan on Reprocessing Facility

JNFL today notified the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry of the changes in its work plan based on the Article 44.4.2 of the "Law on the Regulation of Nuclear Source Material, Nuclear Fuels Material and Reactors" (Nuclear Regulation Law) in respect of the time to start the work to change the way of treatment of low-level liquid wastes at the spent fuel receiving/storage building, which is mentioned in the application to have JNFL designated as a reprocessing operator.  The notified change is aimed at changing the date of commencement of work from originally scheduled November 2002 to February 2003.
