Notification of Change in Work Plan for Reprocessing Facility

JNFL today notified the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry of the changes in the work plan for the reprocessing facility regarding the changes mentioned below based on the reprocessing plant's "Overall Plan for Test Operation" that was submitted to the Japanese government on September 2, and in compliance with the "Law on the Regulation of Nuclear Source Material, Nuclear Fuels Material and Reactors" (Nuclear Regulation Law). <Changes Notified>   - To change the scheduled date of starting uranium testings from October 2003 to June 2003.   - To change the quantity of uranium to be used in the uranium testings from about 50 tons to about 60 tons.
