Press Release Concerning an Application for Reprocessing Facility Design and Construction Modifications

JNFL announced that it today filed an application with the director general of the Science and Technology Agency concerning modifications to the design and construction of its Rokkasho-Mura reprocessing facility. The modifications are designed to improve maintenance procedures and operational efficiency at the Cooling Water Sub-facility. The Cooling Water Sub-facility is located in the tunnel between the Head End Building and the Purification Building.
