Signing of an outsourcing agreement with the Nuclear Reprocessing Organization of Japan concerning the duties for fuel reprocessing business and waste management business
Japan Nuclear Fuel Limited (JNFL) hereby announces that it has signed an outsourcing agreement with the Nuclear Reprocessing Organization of Japan today concerning the duties for fuel reprocessing business and waste management business.
With this development, JNFL will continue to carry out the said duties, using expert knowledge and experiences accumulated so far, while listening to the feedback from the local community on the premise of safety assurance.

1．Duties for fuel reprocessing business
・Reprocessing spent fuel
・Vitrifying, storing and managing high-level liquid waste, etc.
2．Duties for waste management business
・Receiving, storing and managing returned high-level waste (vitrified waste), etc.
