On October 28, 2010, after holding commencement ceremony for the safety construction of the MOX Fuel Fabrication Plant, we began construction (excavation) at 11:03.

We would like to express our gratitude to those from all parties concerned that have given support, and to the people of Rokkasho Village and Aomori Prefecture.
With safety as first priority, we will steadily carry out further construction and aim for final completion in March 2016.
