Press Release Concerning JNFL Support Activities Related to the JCO Tokai Plant Accident

JNFL announced today that it will provide support services to the JCO accident site. 8 personnel (5 radiation control staff, 3 environmental monitoring staff) were dispatched to the site, and support equipment such as a monitoring vehicle, film badges, survey meters and dust samplers were shipped at 10:00 today. If necessary, JNFL is also prepared to send 20 staff for decontamination activities.
