Press Release Concerning an Application for Reprocessing Facility Design and Construction Modifications (Spent Fuel Receiving and Storage Building)

JNFL announced that it today filed an application with the director general of the Science and Technology Agency concerning modifications to the design and construction of its Rokkasho-Mura reprocessing facility (Spent Fuel Receiving and Storage Building). The modifications are designed to improve the Spent fuel Cask Maintenance Facility which is scheduled to be constructed within four years after the start of reprocessing business.
