Press Release Concerning the Commencement of the Fourth Regular Inspection of the Vitrified Waste Storage Centre

JNFL announced that the fourth regular inspection of its Vitrified Waste Storage Centre will begin on 23 October. The inspection is expected to take one month. The inspection will cover the following areas: Alarm equipment and interlocking devices Vitrified waste reprocessing capacity Primary radiation control facilities Dose equivalent rates and radioactive material concentrations in controlled radiation areas Nuclear fuel material containment in restricted areas Other functions
