The final phase of the ongoing intake of spent nuclear fuel casks was completed today.

Intake of the casks to the Spent Fuel Receiving and Storage Control Building began at 9:08 and was officially completed at 14:40. The total number of the casks received today was 5 casks, for an aggregate total of 9 casks. The transport ship left the port of Mutsu-Ogawara at 17:35.
