The second 1998 intake of Low-level Radioactive Waste(LLW) is scheduled to be held on 25 May 1998. The LLW will be shipped from Tsuruga nuclear power station, operated by The Japan Atomic Power Company in Fukui prefecture. The total amount of LLW to be received during this intake will be 1096 drums, with each drum containing 200 liters of LLW. Intake of all 1096 drums is expected to take 2 day. |
