At the present time, the transport ship, "Pacific Swan", is standing off the port of Mutsu-Ogawara due to the Governor of Aomori prefecture's refusal to allow the ship to use docking facilities at the port. In consideration of crew members' health, and the need to resupply the ship with water and materials, the above parties filed an application with the Governor at 21:00 tonight to allow temporary use of the docking facilities solely for such purposes. Docking operations are scheduled to begin at 10:00 tomorrow morning. |
