JNFL received approval from the Director General of the Science and Technology Agency today regarding an application for design and construction work at its Rokkasho Uranium Enrichment Plant filed on June 15 1997. |

The application was filed in order to enhance operating stability at the Uranium Enrichment Plant by installing an uninterruptible emergency power supply system, and remodeling a portion of the direct-current power supply facilities. |
