Announcement of Alternation of Schedule for the Ongoing Fourth 1997 Intake of Low-Level Radioactive Waste to the Low-Level Radioactive Waste Disposal Centre in Rokkasho-Mura.

The final phase of the ongoing intake of Low-Level Radioactive Waste (LLW) to the Low-Level Radioactive Waste Disposal Centre, which was sheduled to be carried out on 19 September will be postponed to 22 September, as the port of Mutsu-Ogawara is expected to be within the area affected by Typhoon 20. The transport ship, Seiei-Maru, will temporarily leave the port for safety until the typhoon has passed.
