Today JNFL has received the subject document from The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI), which is going to be applied to our nuclear fuel cycle facilities.

This instruction was based on the event which occurred at Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station of Tokyo Electric Power Company.

JNFL will perform the comprehensive safety assessment in accordance with this document for Reprocessing, Waste Storage, Fuel Fabrication, and Low-Level Radioactive Waste Disposal facilities.

The results will be reported to METI as soon as the assessment is completed.
