Uranium Enrichment
11 tons of Low Enriched Uranium UF6 were produced in the current fiscal year.
Commercial operation of the first half of the initial installation for the centrifuge units renewal work commenced at Rokkasho Uranium Enrichment Plant on March 9, 2012.
Currently, the reprocessing plant is in the stage of "Final Commissioning-Test" and planned to complete its construction in October 2013.

Spent Fuel Receiving and Storage
Up to now, total of 3,344 tons of spent fuel has been received.
Vitrified Waste Storage
Up to now, total of 1,414 canisters has been received.
LLW Disposal
5,008 waste packages were received during the current fiscal year, up to now total of 246,259 drums has been disposed.
Also, we are planning to construct the sub-surface disposal of the relatively higher level LLW. Geological investigations were completed in March 2006.
Construction started on October 28, 2010 and construction is under way.
